To all PAMIS family carers supporting someone with profound learning and multiple disabilities (PMLD), we are thrilled to be sharing this incredible training opportunity that will enhance your knowledge and skills in postural care.

Don’t miss out! Join us for our new hybrid 24-Hour Postural Care Course, starting Thursday 29th October. This hybrid In-person/online course is designed to equip you with essential skills to make a significant difference in the lives of those you care for who experience movement difficulties.


Due to popular demand, we decided to run the course with one day of in-person learning with the rest of the sessions online on the Zoom platform.

Some of what to Expect:

- In-depth understanding of postural care

- Practical tips to implement in daily support

- Interactive sessions with an experienced practitioner and Family Carer Consultant

The Changing Places Toilet team at PAMIS and Inspiring Scotland were delighted to join Fife Coast & Countryside Trust, alongside a representative from The Scottish Government, to visit the new Changing Places Toilet at Silver Sands in Aberdour, Fife.

Funded through the Scottish Government's Changing Places Toilet Scotland Fund, this vital facility will make a real difference, enabling disabled people, their families and carers to enjoy this beautiful coastal area with greater comfort, dignity and confidence.

With funding from the Health and Social Care Alliance Scotland and The National Lottery Community Fund, PAMIS are pleased to announce the delivery of the 5th In-person moving and handling awareness session scheduled for Monday 26th October 2026 in Aberdeen (see attached flyer for more details).

This event is specifically designed for families that PAMIS support living in Grampian and Tayside area.

We recently received a gift through ShareGift which we were delighted about! A supporter donated their shares and suggested that we receive a donation.
