But did you know that there is a water crisis in the ?
In a region with the largest volume of water in the world, communities are facing a water crisis like never before. Increased salination, climatic changes and pollution alongside a complete lack of infrastructure mean families across the Amazon don’t have water.
No water means disease.
No water means poverty.
No water means people have no choice but to leave.
And if people leave, the Amazon will die.
This is why we exist. At Tatha Water we work in with institutions and in the Amazon to design simple, accessible that will solve this crisis.
Our harvesting systems provide clean, safe, free water. For life.
Our mission is simple.
Clean Water. Dignified Sanitation. For Life.
That’s it. That’s what we do.
And we do it because water in the Amazon is about more than human survival. It's about survival of the Amazon itself. If we want to save the Amazon, we need to protect its people. They are our last line of defense. They may need water. But we need them far more.
On this World Water Day, you can help us transform lives and protect the Amazon from destruction.
