What a fantastic Big Sunday 2026. A little bit of Scottish weather wasn’t enough to stop the fun, and it was wonderful to see so many people out enjoying a day filled with live music, community spirit, great food, family activities and plenty of Westfest magic. ☀️
From talented local musicians and young performers to folk favourites, Cajun sounds and 80s classics, our stages were buzzing all day long. We hope everyone who came along had as much fun as we did.
A huge thank you to all of our performers, traders, community groups and activity providers who helped create such a varied and vibrant programme throughout the day.
Most importantly, thank you to our incredible volunteers. Westfest is organised and delivered by volunteers, and events like Big Sunday simply wouldn’t happen without the many people who give up their time before, during and after the event to make it all come together✨
We’re also incredibly grateful to our main sponsors, Kerr’s Dairy, McDonald’s in the Community and the Northwood Charitable Trust, whose support helps make Westfest possible.
