Our friends at The MAXwell Centre will be making a visit to the park on Monday 19th of Jan for a Winter Wildlife Walk 🌳

Setting off from The Maxwell Centre at 1:30pm, for a stroll around the park identifying trees, birds and other wildlife 🐦

Then back to the centre for a warm cuppa ☕️

Needing some fresh air and motivation for 2026?

Join us for a walk to Dudhope Park. We will be enjoying a gentle (or brisk 😆) stroll to Dudhope park and exploring to see what nature we come across. There is so much out there if we take the time to stop and look, even in January!

A successful morning litter pick by the group and other volunteers ♻️

We collected an incredible 30 bags of litter, and leaves, from the park with a particular focus around the skate park 🛹

A fantastic effort that makes a real, immediate difference to our park 💛

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED! ♻️

We will be doing a litter pick in the park on Saturday 15th of November, meeting at 10am.

All equipment and also some snacks will be provided for volunteers.

Just turn up on the day and meet at the Skate Park.

We’re delighted that the Friends of Dudhope Park Family Fun Day has been featured in the Evening Telegraph! 🎉 It’s fantastic to see the community spirit and joy of the day recognised in our local paper.

A huge thank you goes to our supporters — Tayside Contracts for supplying packed lunches, and the Community Regeneration Fund together with Dundee Community Grants, whose funding support ensured that all the fun activities could remain completely free for families to enjoy 🌳✨

And of course, thank you to everyone who came along, volunteered, or supported us — you’ve helped make Dudhope Park a true hub for the community 💛

🚒 Meet Your Local Firefighters & Explore the Fire Truck! 🚒

Get ready for some big wheels, flashing lights, and a whole lot of “wow!” because the Blackness Road Fire Station will be joining us at the Friends of Dudhope Park Family Fun Day, Saturday 16th of August, 12-3pm.

🚒 Climb aboard the fire truck and see inside

It’s a brilliant chance for kids (and grown-ups!) to learn more about the amazing work our fire service does — and maybe even inspire a few future firefighters!

We’re delighted to have Event People Catering, a family-run outdoor catering company with over 30 years of experience, joining us at the FREE Family Fun Day at Dudhope Park on Saturday 16th August, 12–3pm!

The team will be serving up delicious eats from their stylish Airstream burger van — and trust us, you’ll want to come hungry! 👨‍🍳🔥
