Hey racers, it's the new year and there's lots of racing on this February!

The February look ahead includes some of the other clubs that run in Scotland if you can't make it to any of the buggy racing over the winter, so here's what's available:

*Buggy Racing*
- Glasgow Model Car Club run Losi Mini-B on a Wednesday evening at East Kilbride Sports Club and selected Sundays.
- Ayrshire Radio Control Car Club run a mix of buggies and on-road on a Monday and some Friday evenings at their facility in Mosshill Industrial Estate.
- Dumfries Model Car Club run a limited winter series with their fourth round on the 8th of Feb.
- Grampian Radio Car Club, Aberdeen have two rounds of their winter club championships at Newtonhill near Aberdeen, running a mix of buggies and on-road.

For those willing to travel further, there's also a round of the Bury Metro RCC indoor series, the start of the NEAM RC winter series on Sunday and the MKGP in Milton Keynes.

*On Road*
- Lothian Radio Control Car Club run GT12 and LMP12 most Fridays in Broxburn.
- Dundee & Angus Radio Controlled Car Klub also run GT12 and LMP12 on a Friday at Wellbank just outside Dundee.
- West Coast MCC run Tamiya M-chassis every second Thursday in Irvine.

Also, for those willing to travel, there is the GT12 National Grand Prix in Tamworth this weekend.

*Stock Cars*
- Lothian Oval Racing Club run a variety of Stock Car classes on Monday Night in Livingstone.
- Coaltown Rc Oval Racers also run Stock Cars on a Tuesday Night

If all else fails, there's always VRC Pro (official)! Like and comment, and I'll see you all trackside, IP.

PS, apologies if I've missed anything, let me know if there's anything that should be added.

Dear Members,

Happy New Year and welcome to 2026! 🎉

On behalf of the committee, we’d like to thank you all for your continued support of the Dundee & Angus Radio Control Car Klub. Despite the challenges of the past year, it’s your enthusiasm and commitment that keep the club alive and moving forward.

As we head into the new season, we want to be open with you about an important change. Due to rising costs—most notably an increase in hall hire—we have had to make the difficult but necessary decision to adjust our pricing for 2026. This ensures the club remains sustainable and able to continue offering regular race nights and a welcoming environment for all members.

From January 2026, session fees will be:

• Adults: £7 → £8
• Juniors: £5 → £6

Monthly membership fees will be:

• Adult: £20 → £22
• Junior: £12 → £13
• Family: £30 → £33

We understand that any increase is never ideal, and this decision was not taken lightly. These changes simply reflect the unavoidable rise in our operating costs and allow us to keep the club running smoothly without compromising on track time or facilities.

Looking ahead, our focus for 2026 is on growing membership, strengthening our club community, and making race nights as enjoyable and competitive as possible. We’re excited about what the year ahead holds and hope you’ll continue to be part of it with us.

Thank you again for your understanding and ongoing support. Here’s to a fast, fun, and successful 2026! 🚗💨
Kind regards,

The Committee
Dundee & Angus Radio Control Car Klub
