We recently had our 2026 Group Camp! 🏕️

Squirrels, Beavers, Cubs & Scouts took part in a range of activities ran by Leaders & Young Leaders. A total of 109 participants who made this group camp an incredible experience for everyone who attended.

Our young people took part in 8 bases, Archery, Backwoods Cooking, Pioneering, Scouting Skills, Site Services, Digital Orienteering, Paracord Crafts & Tie Dye as well as a Friday Night Board Games, Saturday Night Campfire & plenty of wide games.

A massive THANK YOU to every single volunteer who made the camp possible, a special thank you to the many leaders outwith our group who supported us, and also to our Young Leaders who go above and beyond always.

Last night our Scout section visited Campy Growers at Camperdown Park to learn about the garden and lend a helping hand where possible.

The Scouts enjoyed learning all about the plants growing in the garden, the animals and bugs that help the plants and also about the biodiversity in and around the garden.

The Scouts mucked in and helped with various tasks across the garden, weeding, bug relocation, garden cultivating and a few dirt fights!

We want to say a massive thank you to the incredible Lucy and Nadege at Campy Growers for having us for the evening!

If you wish to lend a volunteering hand or visit their pop up veg stall. Make sure you check them out! We will be back!!
