Shaper/Caper We’re a charity that likes throwing shapes and having a caper, presenting critically acclaimed performances and nifty creative learning work!

We are an inclusive organisation striving to provide access to the arts across staff and audiences, working in partnership with funders and supporters to facilitate awareness and training on equalities and inclusion through dance. We work with LGBTYouth Scotland, Parkinson's UK, NHS Tayside, Shared Care Scotland, Dundee and Angus ADHD Support Group, etc.

Are you an LGBTQ+ young person aged 16-24? 🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️

Then come along to OUTLOUD! A FREE workshop in Dundee to hang out, build community, spark conversations, and express themselves freely through creativity, connection, and shared experiences with an opportunity to get involved in Dundee Pride as well as some paid leadership opportunities.

Gilbert’s Adventures Through Books is an interactive workshop for under 5s and their grown ups. Much more than a dance class, it’s about building magical worlds together, sparking your wee one’s imagination, and a love for reading and dancing!🕺

OUTLOUD is a space where LGBTQIA+ young people aged 16-24 can get together to talk about things that matter to them IRL, combatting loneliness and isolation by sparking connection, creativity and joy.

Wednesdays 10th, 17th and 24th June, and 1st July (wrap up session for the summer term) ..then back in August after a wee summer break

On the lead up to we are hosting workshops every Wednesday at 6:30pm at our new venue for LGBTQIA+ young people to support and contribute to  Dundee Pride 2026  with marketing, social media, performance, volunteering & peer research. There will also be paid leadership opportunities, training, mentoring and skills development. ✨
