The Engagement Manager leads the planning, development, and delivery of Shaper/Caper’s engagement programme, ensuring all activity aligns with and supports the Artistic Director’s vision. Working closely with the Artistic Director and Executive Team, you will drive the growth of our engagement work by securing new opportunities and building meaningful partnerships that expand our reach and impact.
The Engagement Manager will design and deliver an inspiring and inclusive programme of activities and experiences, aligned with our strategic plans, enabling people of all ages and abilities to participate.
We’re looking for someone hands-on, flexible and committed to creating impactful experiences for our participants, by building relationships with partners and driving the development of our engagement programme.
About You
1. You are an experienced manager with a strong understanding of arts education and community engagement.
2. You care deeply about quality, safety, and collaboration, and take pride in creating inclusive, supportive environments where participants and practitioners can do their best work.
3. Highly organised and adaptable, you are comfortable working across a range of settings including schools, nurseries, care homes, and community
4. A clear communicator and problem-solver, you enjoy working closely with artists, participants, and colleagues to deliver high-quality, impactful learning experiences.
