Discoverin' Families Whitfield Discoverin' Families works in Fintry,Whitfield and Mill o Mains
We support student or working parents

We work with local parents and children in North East Dundee specifically Mill o Mains, Fintry and Whitfield We help identify what skills and talents parents and families have and how they can use them to get more out of life in their local communities. We are keen to meet working (paid and voluntary work)and student parents or carers and to get their ideas and volunteer support to plan and run di

fferent sessions, initiatives and events. Some local parents as volunteer and community activists have already made a practical difference to the amount and range of children and family activities happening locally. Together we help to engage new families and support these families on their journey of discovery and of course make sure we have fun along the way. These activities are ran in partnership with other voluntary agencies and the food is funded by Dundee Bairns.
