Tomorrow is Mesothelioma Awareness Day. Many of our Asbestos Action friends and families will be remembering loved ones no longer with us, while others will be fighting their own personal battle. Let's take a minute to remember why it is important to keep raising awareness of this devastating disease. We at Asbestos Action are seeing an increase in Mesothelioma referrals, highlighting the continued need for the vital support we provide. On this day and every day our thought are with those affected by Mesothelioma

This is great news, although no amount of money will make up for the asbestos exposure it can help relieve worries over finances whilst dealing with a diagnosis.

Fabulous news.

The UK government have announced this week that families who have lost loved ones to asbestos disease are going to get higher compensation payouts. 🙌
This change in the law will mean that government compensation to bereaved families will be equal to what the sufferer would have received had they been alive. We are so pleased about this long-overdue change, which will provide fairer compensation for families. Read the full press release here:

What a day! We did it! Thanks to staff, trustees and friends for taking part. Charities like ours depend on donations to allow us to continue to support those in need. Making Memories! ❤️
One of Jenny's clients recently ticked a very special item off his bucket list! He had an amazing driving experience in two Italian super cars, a Lamborghini and a Ferrari 458. He has always loved cars and motorbikes, he built the bike in one of the photos from scratch, from crashed bikes he found around the Lothians (which started first time, much to his mother's surprise 😯). It's lovely to see him doing something he loves and making memories along the way. I wonder what is next on his list?
