More growing space at Campy!
In spring we scythed an area of overgrown thistles, nettles and cleavers. Then we placed tatties in a small pile of compost and covered them with straw (some may recognise this as the Ruth Stout method).
Then we walked away and left them to it. No watering and no attention needed. They're looking very healthy.
We don't know what kind of yield we might get but it will help us to clear the space of nettles and maybe next year we will have a new growing space here!
