It's the 1st of May and that can only mean one thing 👀
It's exactly 3 months until "FREY-STIVAL 2026" on the 1st of August this year we once again bring you an entire day for everyone to love and enjoy, no matter your circumstances. As always we are bringing all the creative, beautiful and insanely talented souls together to put on the most magical day for Dundee. Are you ready for the best one yet?? 🧚🏻🍄🌿
I want to let you all in on a little secret we haven't shared yet.. Things have been very quiet on our side due to me & my partner growing a little rainbow baby. Our little Freya has blessed us with a little sister for us to love and celebrate!
It's been a very challenging pregnancy physically and mentally. So i’m sure you can understand how difficult this year of planning has been. I am doing my best to make this year’s Freystival the biggest and best ever!
As you all know Freya's wish is completely voluntary, trying to live a life and work to fund it, all while running an organisation with such a small and busy team, this year with our little baba in the mix too! It can become really challenging and overwhelming but we fight to overcome it!
Freya's Wish premises being closed hasn't made anything easier, especially without much cooperation from those who closed us. However we are so pleased to announce that we are so close to welcoming you all back.
Being a voluntary organisation we need to rely on the kindness of others, we have no magical pot of money, our events and our fundraising are our biggest source of income, and with our premises being closed we haven't been able to raise the money in our usual fashion.
Luckily for us we have survived, Thanks to The community. Freya's wish is a beautiful unique space, built by the community and funded by the community and we couldn’t be more grateful for the love and support!
A special place that we had no idea would grow into what it is today. We started this wanting to spread joy, what we have achieved up until now couldn't have been done without the community, your ideas, your love and your Dreams 🫶🏻
