WOW…….🤩

Yesterday we held a collection at Glenesk Park for Dundee Community Grants, and just look at what you lovely lot donated!

We asked for a few donations… and you certainly delivered! 👏

Sue and I dropped the lot off with Paul yesterday afternoon. Thankfully, we managed to fit it all in the cars! 🚙 🚗 🤣

A huge thank you to everyone who donated. Your generosity is fantastic!

We will have another drop off date in November, keep your eyes peeled for dates. Start getting those cupboards cleared out!! 🤣

What a fantastic time we had at Ladies Day on Saturday at Glenesk Park!

It was an absolute blast! Plenty of laughs, great company and maybe a few too many drinks! 🍷🍾🍸

The men did a fantastic job holding the fort for the day, keeping everything running smoothly while us ladies danced the night away!💜

We certainly made the most of it!

Two steps forward, twelve steps back… not the best feeling to have on such a beautiful day💜

There’s so much happening behind the scenes at Glenesk Park, and while we’re making progress, the hurdles and setbacks certainly like to keep us on our toes!

Some days you really do wonder if someone’s secretly adding more obstacles to the list! 🤣

But then the sun comes out, you look at this beautiful space and remember why we’re putting ourselves through it all! 💜

Creating a fully accessible and inclusive community hub was never going to be easy, but we’re determined to get there!

We’ll keep jumping through the hoops… although we’re starting to run out of energy for all the gymnastics! 🤸‍♀️😂

Here’s hoping for a few more steps forward and a lot fewer backwards! 🤞💜

It was lovely to welcome Kingspark School to our community space at Glenesk Park for their Parent Group focusing on Transition into Adult Services.

A huge thank you to Lori and Wendy for organising the session, and to all the parents and carers who came along. 💜

Supporting young people and their families through the transition from school into adult life is so important, and this is exactly the type of activity we want our community hub to provide a welcoming and accessible space for.

We’re delighted that this is hopefully just the beginning and look forward to the group becoming a regular meeting at Glenesk Park. ☕️💜

💜 Another job ticked off the list! 💜

We’re absolutely delighted with the new flooring in our Changing Space at Glenesk Park – what a difference it has made! ✨

A huge thank you to Ross McGuckin for his time and hard work getting the flooring laid and helping us take another step closer to having this important facility ready for our community.

Every little bit of progress brings us closer to creating a fully accessible and inclusive community hub, where everyone is welcome and everyone’s needs are considered. ♿️💜

We can’t wait to show you more as the space continues to come together!
