Today is World Children's Day:

Since the onset of the full-scale invasion by Russia, over 500 Ukrainian children have lost their lives, and more than 1,000 have been injured due to armed aggression. Russia's actions in Ukraine include acts of genocide, particularly the forced deportation of Ukrainian children to Russia, with estimates suggesting up to 700,000 children affected.

These deportations, orchestrated by Russian authorities, constitute crimes against humanity. On this World Children's Day, we call upon our community to stand in solidarity with Ukrainian children and families. Please support, share, and repost to spread awareness of these grave injustices.

Ukrainian Victory Campaign invites you to stand in solidarity with Ukraine on the second anniversary of Russia's full scale invasion of Ukraine.
Two years ago Russia escalated its war in Ukraine, launching a full invasion, destroying entire cities, towns and villages, executing and torturing civilians and POWs, and launching a mass kidnapping programme of Ukrainian children. Russia believed it could do this and get away with it because of the impunity with which they had been treated since 2014, when Russia illegally invaded and annexed Crimea, and launched a war in Ukraine's Donetsk and Luhansk regions.
We will stand outside the Russian Consulate in Edinburgh on Saturday the 24th of February between 1300 and 1500. The Russian Consulate is located on Melville Street, a short walk from the West End and Haymarket Station. Show Russia that they will not be treated with impunity, and show Ukrainians that we stand together with them until victory.
