☀️ What a lovely week we’ve had enjoying the sunshine so far.

I took one of my lovely ladies to Levengrove Park, where we were lucky enough to meet the volunteers from Cycling Without Age Scotland - Levengrove Park. They gave her a wonderful tour around the park, which she absolutely loved. I would highly recommend them if you or a loved one would enjoy getting out and about in the fresh air. 🫶🏼

Another one of my lovely ladies is housebound and would normally spend most of her day sitting in her chair indoors. I managed to persuade her to venture into her wheelchair, which had been tucked away in the bunker outside. After getting it out and ready, I helped her into it and wheeled her to the back door to enjoy some fresh air and sunshine. ☀️

She sat happily taking it all in while I got on with the usual household tasks. In fact, when it came time to go back inside, she didn’t want to move! 😊 Sometimes it’s the simplest things, like feeling the sunshine on your face and enjoying a breath of fresh air, that can make the biggest difference to someone’s day. 💜

Sometimes the smallest things can make the biggest difference. 🫶🏼

A fantastic outing at Levengrove Park today 😎.

We were kept busy from the moment we arrived until the moment we packed up with very appreciative passengers.

After an extremely kind recent donation, we purchased a flag to help promote our Chapter and what we do.

Even the great Scottish summer weather couldn’t hold back the visit of the residents from Morar Living, Hermitage House visiting us today.

It was our pleasure and privilege to take you on a damp and slightly blustery tour of our beautiful park. Hoods were up, blankets were on and the banter was flowing.

Thank you so much for visiting us and we hope to see more of your residents visit us soon, just try and bring better weather with you next time 😎…..

A busy and important day at CWAS Levengrove HQ as Jim and his team start training 4 new pilots.

A very warm welcome to David, George, Ian and Robert, welcome to the team and thanks for volunteering to be part of our group.

More active volunteers, gives us more opportunities to be out and about helping our local community.

You’ll be seeing some new faces in the weeks and months ahead.

We are planning to be out on Thursday (weather permitting) supporting a group from Hermitage Park Care Home.

Run Loch Lomond is on and Scotland are playing a World Cup game late the night before, so we’re keen to check we’ll have enough volunteers and runners/walkers for Levengrove parkrun to go ahead.

What a wonderful day showing the lovely ladies of Clydebank Walking Group around our beautiful park. They seemed to enjoy it almost as much as we did 😀.

The Team will be at your service in Levengrove Park tomorrow (Wed 10th) from around 11:30am.

We will be helping support a Walking Group from Clydebank who intend treating themselves to a trishaw ride (and our pilots will do the work for a wee change).

If you fancy a FREE ride in our beautiful park then why not pay is a visit.
