Ben View aims to promote the wellbeing of the people of Dumbarton and the surrounding area by:

1. Providing Older Peoples Care services in terms of a social Lunch Club and a Befriending Service

2. Providing a Community Bathing Service registered with the Care Inspectorate

3. Providing a youth programme for young people aged 5 – 16 offering a safe

space for socialising with peers while participating in fun workshops shops teaching basic social and practical life skills. We offer school holiday providing meals, fun activities, trips and outings.

4. Providing a volunteer programme including training, support and expenses that support our lunch club, youth club, befriending service and our focus groups that are aimed to support those living in poverty and experiencing social isolation

5. Providing affordable meeting spaces and office bases for community groups

6. Offering an annual fundraising programme to raise funds to support our current programme of activities available to the local community.

7. Raising the awareness of the local community to the issues associated with poverty and encourage them to become actively involved.

8. Providing a Children’s Fund which is accessible and granted through third party offering a payment for Children living in poverty

9. Developing partnership with relevant agencies, organisations and individuals
