We have been a little quiet on the Community Litter Picking the last couple of Months but it is all for a very good reason we promise. 😊

Here at Castle & Priory Wombles HQ we have been really busy turning an unused piece of land that was part of a project to honour the Millennium that has been unloved and fly tipped on for 20 plus years back into a beautiful green space for our Community to enjoy and today we were awarded some funding to help us fulfil this dream 🙏

Today we worked with Public Health to hold the Make it Happen Wrens Nest and Priory event. Thank you to Priory Park Community School for hosting us.

We heard from some amazing projects and can't wait to see the amazing work they all do!

We even had our new CEO Steve Bavington and local Councillor Keiran Casey - Castle and Priory join us.

An honour to have been elected to serve Castle and Priory on Dudley Council.

An area rich in history as the place that lit the spark to fire the industrial revolution with great innovators like Abraham Darby and legends of sport like Duncan Edwards, but an area also filled with opportunity for the future too - the true historic capital of the Black Country!

A massive thank you to everyone that supported me during the campaign and to the people of Castle and Priory for putting their faith in me.

The hard works starts now and I will be doing everything I can to be a strong voice on the Council for all, whether you voted for me or not, and I want to work together to make our area the very best it can be.

Our next Litter Pick will be on Sunday 10th April between 10.30am and 11.30am we will be doing a Community Litter Pick down Meadow Road and by Priory Park Community School along with some of the local residents and Community Campaigner Keiran Casey.

This will be one of many we will be doing within Castle and Priory as we do our bit to contribute towards the "Keep our Area Tidy" Campaign

Anybody who wants to join us we are meeting for this Litter Pick at Meadow Road, Dudley, DY1 3JY at 10.30am
