This is the final weekend of a bus replacement service. Check station notice boards to see locations of where the buses depart from. Note, that if going north or southbound, both services leave at 40 minutes past the hour. Returning from Sheffield, the buses leave at 20 minutes past the hour, FROM THE BUS STATION (you will see the big yellow buses as you approach the terminal).
From Nottingham, buses leave at 44 past the hour.

Northern has put out the following:
Reduced train plan in place for extreme weather:
'Due to extreme heat across our network and an amber weather warning in place, we are putting a reduced train plan in place for Thursday 13 August. These changes are being put in place to maintain reliable operations, keep trains that are running operating efficiently, and keep customers on the move as much as possible.

We’ll be reducing the number of trains running on routes across our Northern network...if a customer has a Northern ticket booked for travel on an affected route they have some flexibility to use the ticket on other services or if they cannot travel today because of the extreme heat, the ticket may be used to travel on Friday or Saturday instead.'

Please see signs on the platforms for the pickup points. (Check before travelling because bus departure times don't necessarily coincide with train departure times. You will require a ticket to board the bus.)

WARNING IF TRAVELLING ON EMR TRAINS TODAY, 8th AND 15th AUGUST There is strike action, but services ARE running, though with a reduction in capabilities. Check the EMR website or app before travelling.

FRIENDS OF DRONFIELD STATION
We are a group of community volunteers who like to style the station as a pleasant and warm welcome to Dronfield. We also campaign for improvements to our local railway services and transport links.
As you can see, the station is looking beautiful because of the efforts of our volunteers, and we have entered East Midlands in Bloom, so wish us luck!
We also support Ashgate Hospice.
