Join screenwriter Paul Carey on this fun, intensive, introductory course into the fundamentals of writing for film and television. Through a variety of practical exercises, discussions, brainstorming and group feedback sessions, Paul will facilitate your screenwriting development and start you on your journey of getting your film and series ideas onto the page.

Paul Carey is an award-winning screenwriter and MA graduate of the acclaimed National Film and Television School. His TV credits include projects for Netflix, ITV, BBC and more, while his films have been screened at various festivals worldwide. Paulâs work includes working in the writerâs room for Lisa McGeeâs âHow to Get to Heaven From Belfastâ, writing episodes on multiple series of the BAFTA-nominated comedy GâWed and is currently developing an audio comedy series for BBC Radio Ulster. Outside of his industry work, Paul has facilitated various workshops around the UK and Ireland for creative writing, filmmaking and screenwriting.
