We have monitored the weather carefully and have decided to regretfully postpone our ostara festival. The event will not happen this saturday due to the storm activity increasingly getting worse. The storm has now been officially named. This wasn't an easy decision to make and we were hoping that something might have took a turn as we were so excited to see you all again and open our village to you all once more💔

The event is being rescheduled and we will keep you posted on the new festival date.

Only 6 days to go to our easter opening. The magical Ostara event a 1 day only special event for all 🐰🔥⚔️🎊

The Magnus vikings association presents the Ostara festival! As we come out of our hibernation our village is ready to open again. To kick start the year off we are hosting a one day special event. ⚔️🔥🐣🐰

Come along saturday the 4th April from 12pm to 5pm at the Ballydugan Medieval Settlement Bring along all the friends and family for a fun day out and see a whole range of our activities

Make your own flower crowns.
Egg treasure hunt
Nature Mandelas (sensory space)
Kids v vikings
medeival market
Battle displays
Nature inspired crafts and more.

Admission at the gates.
£7.50 per adult
£5 per child
£20 family pass (2 adults 2 children)
*cash only*

Unfortunately no dogs can attend.

The Magnus Viking Association is now recruiting ⚔️🔥 sign up and come see our open day on the 28th February at the Ballydugan Medieval Settlement. 2pm.

Ever been interested at festivals how and why we do what we do? Now is your chance. You can learn many of trades and skills.. even medieval arms techniques! Come along to our open day and see if becoming a viking or one of your ancestors is for you ⚔️🩶🔥💛⚔️

Hi all

The Magnus Viking Association is now taking bookings for 2026.

We were overwhelmed with potential bookings in 2025, this unfortunately resulted in us having to turn some offers down. So in an effort to avoid this happening again, we are endeavoring to get in early, in an attempt to manage bookings as efficiently as possible.

Therefore, please let us know as soon as possible if you are planning events that you would like us to be a part of.
