📌 IMPORTANT VISITOR INFORMATION
💵 Cash On Entry: Please ensure you bring cash for entry and trader stalls, as card processing will not be available on-site.
🧺 Picnics: Guests are welcome to bring their own picnics to enjoy during the event.
🐾 Pet Policy: No dogs are permitted on site, with the exception of assistance dogs.

Greetings adventurers
Just a little update about our folklore and fantasy festival.
We have decided to move the event from the 12th and 13th September to the 19th and 20th September.
We are doing this so that we do not conflict with another event.
Our good friends from the Sons of Ivar and Clan Cuan, are holding an event called 'Forged In Steel' at Wackoz on the Belfast road in Downpatrick. Be sure to pay them a visit

So set the date for our Folklore and fantasy festival
19th and 20th September

Just a wee message to let you all know about our next festival.
We proudly announce our first folklore and fantasy festival.
We are in the early stages of planning but over the next few weeks we'll update you on what is going to take place during the festival.

The Magnus Viking Association has heard the horn blow! War is coming.⚔️

MAGNUS has called for the clans and banner men a like to prepare the sails and prepare for another raid! ⚔️

The Magnus vikings set sail for the Valhalla Viking Festival 2026 and we can't wait to see you all their ❤️

Magnus vikings and our clans coming include ourselves. The Dubh Linn Ostmen, The Golden Ravens, Clann Cuann and afew independents.

We come together to bring an accurate and well told story of our ancestors past in warfare and living history.. but more importantly being ourselves. We welcome all of you to come over and say hi when our village is set up and open for certain times.

We couldnt do it without any of you. Get ready for a raid you will never forget ⚔️🔥⚔️

Dont forget our favourite activity, the vikings v the children ⚔️

Valhalla Viking Festival is an amazing UK Viking festival that will be taking place yearly in the last weekend of July near Basingstoke. Join us for the Viking boat burning, mead, axe throwing, blacksmiths and a 3 day feast that would satisfy the Gods.

ITS A WRAP, what a weekend, the weather, the vikings, the fighting, the fun, Dave the Raven, but most importantly, YOU!!!!!.
On behalf of all the vikings, we want to thank you, the public, for coming out in your droves and spending your Saturday and Sunday with us at our village, our home.
Our aim is to educate and entertain you all in hiberno norse life from 1000 years ago
Our village doesn't exist without you all coming down and showing your support.

Only 3 days left until our summertime festival at the Ballydugan Medieval Settlement. 🔥

The Magnus Viking Association set our sails again and visited Newcastle for a quick raid.

A friendly this one this time, everyone had a lovely time in the beautiful town with the amazing mournes always in view ⚔️

Come along and celebrate our summer time festival on Saturday the 27th and Sunday the 28th June Ballydugan Medieval Settlement

see a range of historical activities from medieval markets, living history, real viking battles ⚔️ and our personal favourite... the kids v the vikings! 🔥

Other activities include crafting activities for the kids
And maybe afew activities for the adults to join in aswell 😉

The Magnus Viking Association has once again completed our yearly raid on the Timahoe Heritage Festival ⚔️ we want to thank all the organisers and all the clans that took part in this amazing festival ❤️💛 can't wait to see you all again next year. Tell you what... those kids hit harder than the vikings 🤣🤣
