Good Morning Down quiz night event - Friday past (11th September)

A word of thanks to everyone who came along and supported our Fundraising Quiz The Old Commercial Bar & Lounge - Mannie's on Friday past 😎👏🤗

Despite a rather disappointing turnout, we raised a magnificent £515.00 including £165.00 in donations - fabulous 🎉 & with confidence confirm everyone had a great night’s craic!

Competition was fierce and after 9 rounds it was congratulations to the winning team: “Four eyes on the Prize” (all team members wore glasses 😜) who won with a 12 point margin over 2nd place “9 to Fivers” (named after the late Dolly) 🤗 we note the winning team included three GMD volunteers, Theresa, Ceara & Jeff 🤗 well done!

Raffle winners: Suzie, Joan, Ceara (x2), Theresa, Celeste, Patricia, Joanne, Manus (x2), Adam, Mariana & Eoin - congrats 👏

Huge thanks to Linda Owens (ASDA Downpatrick) & Patricia Magee for their contributions towards prizes & to Celeste for providing the light supper, finally to Barry at the Old Commercial for contributing prizes and providing his bar to host the quiz - thank you 🙏
