Down Community Arts

We’re so proud to be part of this fantastic collaboration between Downpatrick Primary School and St Brigid’s Primary School, with support from Translink.

The children have been working with the brilliant Kieron Black to create murals and storybooks, using their imagination and creativity to bring some fantastic artwork to life.

A massive shout-out also to Nicky from Translink, who has been fantastic in helping get this project supported through Arts & Business NI.

It’s been brilliant to see the children’s ideas develop, and we can’t wait to see the final work come together! 🎨📚

Down Arts Centre is inviting expressions of interest from vendors for our annual Christmas Craft Fair, taking place on

Friday 27 November — the same evening as the Christmas Light Switch On.

This is a fantastic opportunity to showcase your work to the local community during one of the busiest and most festive nights of the year.

Whether you create handmade gifts, artwork, jewellery, candles, textiles, ceramics, festive decorations, prints, skincare, baked treats, preserves, or something completely unique, we would love to hear from you.

We are keen to welcome a wide variety of local artists, craftspeople, makers, bakers and small creative businesses to help fill Down Arts Centre with festive cheer, beautiful products
and plenty of Christmas shopping inspiration.

And even better — vendor tables are free this year!
If you would like to be considered for a table, please get in touch and tell us a little bit about what you make or sell.
Spaces may be limited, so early expressions of interest are encouraged.

Get in touch today to register your interest and be part of this special festive evening at Down Arts Centre!

Email [email protected] to request an expression of interest form.
