Trash Art and Poetry Club, at our community hub today and this evening. 16th June.

🙂We are continuing our preparations for Dundrum Village Association 's village festival (18th July) with our annual public gallery of YOUR artistic talent and passion displayed throughout our Main Street. Theme this year: fairground rides.
Call in and work on a solo or group piece. Your choice. Trash Art. Every Tuesday 2-4pm.£1pp to attend.

🙂Today is Bloomsday- the annual event held on 16th June that celebrates James Joyce's modernist masterpiece: Ulysses.
The celebration began in Dublin and tonight it's celebrated in our community hub 3 Church Close, Dundrum (opposite our doctors surgery building).
Come along at 7:30pm and enjoy and share your favourite pieces of James Joyce.
£2pp to attend.
Dress-up encouraged.

Please keep an eye out for Bella 😻
This darling girl is our neighbour, residing further down from CVD Hub, in Church Avenue.
Please check all vehicles, outhouse and sheds. Little Bella has been missing for four days now and her loving family of humans are gravely concerned for her safety.

😁 Trash Art Road Trip 😁
Last week, our weekly Trash Art workshop that normally takes place at our community hub, took to the road and joined forces with Dundrum Coastal Rowing Club and enjoyed a workshop with a difference.

The rowing club crew themselves were previously out doing a litter pick with a difference aboard their majestic big red boat..... to rid our shores of rubbish and pollution, protecting our beautiful marine life.
When they landed ashore, Anna and Eileen showed them various ways of making art out of the shore's trash.

We had a brilliantly interactive, fun, community-spirited, and immensely enjoyable time together.

Thank you for inviting us down for a collaboration and a massive THANK YOU for all that you do to help keep our shores free from trash ❤🐠🐡🦈🐟🦑🐙🌊❤
