Hi everyone nearing the end of another month. This Saturday 28th March our Coffee Morning come along with your friends for a lovely atmosphere enjoy a cuppa with selection of cakes, scones, sausage rolls etc. Also have a go on our Tombola stall. A Ploughman’s Lunch is served between 12 - 1pm £8 all money raised is for Social Centre.

Thankyou so much for everybody that came to our coffee morning such a lovely atmosphere. Special thanks to those that bought me tombola prizes and also that made cakes scones etc and also Marion and Abi for helping myself and Dawn. Our next morning will be last Saturday in January.

Hi everyone I do feel that I have to share with you all that the Social Centre is still open Monday to Friday and we are still doing a meals on wheels service due to some rumours about the town.
Downham Market Social Centre started in 1982 and has always been OPEN TO ALL in the community and yes we are within the building of the Methodist Church. You do not have to be a church member to come into our cafe once again open to everybody and all ages.
We are open 9am to 1pm serving light refreshments. Lunch is served at 12.
Lunch is £7 and sweet £3.
Meals on wheels service available in Downham Wimbotsham and Denver.
We hold a Coffee Morning the last Saturday of every month. A lovely atmosphere to have a catch up with friends.

Thankyou to all of you helping me with our coffee morning yesterday was such a lovely atmosphere thanks to all that made cakes etc and also for donating prizes for our Tombola. Ploughman’s Lunch was a great success too. Also big Thankyou to Fensong for their support.
