Thank You for a Fantastic BBQ!

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us at Dover Bowls Club on Sunday for our Summer BBQ.

It was wonderful to see so many members, partners, families and friends enjoying good food, great company and plenty of laughter. Events like these are a fantastic opportunity to catch up, strengthen friendships and enjoy each other's company outside of the Lodge.

A special thank you goes to everyone involved in organising the event and helping to make the day such a success.

We're already looking forward to our next social event, so please save the date:

🧩 The Fourth Part of the Freemasonry Jigsaw

Craft Freemasonry takes us through the first three important stages of a Mason’s journey: Entered Apprentice, Fellow Craft, and Master Mason.

But the story does not end there.

The Royal Arch is often described as the completion of that journey — the fourth part of the Masonic jigsaw — adding further meaning, depth, and understanding to the lessons first discovered in Craft Freemasonry.

For those who have taken their third step in Craft, Royal Arch Freemasonry offers the opportunity to continue the journey and complete the picture.

Supporting Young People in Ashford

Members of Ashford Lodge recently raised funds at their Ladies’ Night in support of a local charity helping vulnerable children and young people.

The Lodge chose to support Rising Sun Kent’s Children and Young People’s Counselling Service, which provides free specialist counselling for children and young people who have experienced domestic abuse.

Thanks to the generosity of those attending the event, and match funding from the Cornwallis East Kent Freemasons Charity, a total of £924 has been donated to support this vital service.

The funding will help ensure that children and young people can access the professional support they need to rebuild confidence, process difficult experiences, and move forward positively with their lives.

A huge thank you to everyone who contributed and helped make this donation possible. Together, we can continue making a positive difference in our local communities.
