A message from our wonderful Heidi who is stepping down as chairman of cawca.
She has helped so many of you and supported us all through hard times and good times

Cawca remains strong and new things are coming this year so keep an eye out for upcoming events and sessions

We continue to offer cost effective party hiring for those children’s parties and events

❤️Heidi will still be one of our biggest supporters but we ask that all Hall or charity questions or comments come directly to us - Heidi has given so much of her life and time and now she deserves a rest ❤️

As I come to the end of my time being chairman and trustee of Clarendon and westbury community association, I would firstly like to thank everyone who has supported us over the last four years of me being at the helm along with the fantastic Kate and Richard!
Thank you to all of you whom have Volunteered over the years and supported us as a community.

Although I’m sad to leave I feel it’s the right time for new ideas and new blood to continue the hard work we have built up for our area.

I have made so many friends and professional relationships during my time at CAWCA and I can not thank you all enough.

I want to wish, the charity, Kate , Richard and all the dedicated volunteers the best of luck for the future….

Had a lovely visit to Sunrise Cafe, Dover and Dover Pantry today! Was great to see the new location for Sunrise and the lively atmosphere in the Charlton Centre.

All ready for 8am opening on Monday 16th!

We look forward to seeing you all there 😊

The cafe is closing slightly earlier than normal today due to an unforeseen circumstance, but is back as normal on Monday.

The volunteers for the parent and child group will also be in to start sorting and preparing the equipment. (The group is not on but you can pop down for a coffee and chat about what you would like to see, or if you are willing to help with the setting up and putting away, from 10am)

AM - parent and child (our vols have been poorly)
PM - home ed family social starting soon

Thursday
Lunchtime - Green wise are coming to run small sessions in the cafe

Days TBC
Book Club - message us if interested

A special needs group is also coming soon on 2 Saturday mornings a month for primary school age children. More details.coming to come from Includesus2 who are running the sessions.

And of course the cafe is open Mon-Fri for breakfast and coffee/tea

Don't forget the cafe is open all this week if you fancy popping in.

Volunteers plan to meet up to discuss the parent and child group and go through the toys later this week and others are discussing coffee mornings.

Also look out for news of a Thursday group starting February. More info later this week.
