🌟 We’re Looking for Volunteer Shop Assistants! 🌟
Love chatting to people and being part of something special? Our little gift shop is looking for friendly, reliable volunteers to help welcome visitors from all over the world — as well as our lovely locals and families.

🛍️ What you’ll do:

Handle money confidently and accurately

Calculate change competently

Provide great customer service

Support our team in raising vital funds for our beloved horses & donkeys

Full till training will be given

☕ Perks:
Enjoy a free cuppa and a slice of cake during your shift — you’ve earned it.

🕙 Hours:
Any time between 10am–4pm, Wednesday to Sunday. Even a couple of hours makes a huge difference.

We’re deeply saddened to share the loss of two cherished residents, Debbie and Dominic.

Debbie, our gentle Shire and proud ex tram horse, was a true character. She and Andrew were inseparable, and Tony’s Dream was never far behind. She came so close to her 30th birthday, but her big frame finally grew tired. Even with the vet and our team doing everything possible, her legs could no longer lift her. She spent her last days in sunshine, grazing on soft green grass with her best friends by her side.

Dominic, our sweet donkey boy, passed suddenly from what we believe was a cardiovascular event. It was quick, and he wasn’t alone; our team stayed with him until his final moment. His mum, Dilys, is missing him terribly, and so are we. Twelve is no age at all and losing him has left a real ache in our hearts.

We’ll carry their memories with us always. 💔🌈

Good morning everyone! Just a little reminder that we are OPEN today. A lot of our residents were having a lie in this morning, happily basking in the sun😁😁😁 Also, here's Popcorn, proudly modelling his new fly rug and F***y Ann helping to upack it.
