A very special session today, celebrating our second birthday! We were delighted to have a visit from the Mayor of Christchurch, Cllr Maggie Fidler, who joined us to see what we were repairing today. It was another busy morning, with a range of items for repair, and plenty of chat and laughter as usual. We even had cake!
Thanks as ever go to the volunteers for their time and expertise, the Saxon Bar for generously hosting the sessions, and to everyone who visits and supports our repair café. We couldn't do it without all of you!
We look forward to meeting more people at our next session on Wednesday 8th July, 10am until noon, at the Saxon Bar.

Wow! Two years of Christchurch Repair Café coming up next week. How amazing is that! Huge thanks to all who have been part of the adventure so far, the volunteers who give their time, the Saxon Bar for hosting the sessions, all of you who have come along with items for repair and who shared the message, and of course Lee Gary Price who had the initial idea, and who would be really delighted to see how it has developed.

The next session of the Christchurch Repair Café is on Wednesday 10th June at the Saxon Bar from 10 am until midday. If you have something that needs repairing, bring it along and we will try to fix it or offer advice. There is no charge, but donations towards running costs are always appreciated.
We have a wide range of skills, and can look at repairing electrical items, tools, lamps,sewing repairs, clocks, costume jewellery etc. Most household items can be repaired.
Find us at the Saxon Bar, Fountain Way, Christchurch BH23 1QN, in the row of shops as you approach Waitrose. Just look for our flag outside.

Spring is in the air! It's time to be outside, cutting and snipping things, or to get that bicycle out and prepared for action.
Staying in with a good book or listening to music is also acceptable.
