🏡 Christchurch Among the UK’s Leading Entrepreneurial Seaside Towns! 🌊

Christchurch has been named by the well-regarded Go Daddy Small Business Research Lab as among the top UK entrepreneurial seaside towns with a 15% increase in the last year in the microbusiness sector, which are those employing 10 or less staff.👏

📣Alexandra Rosen, small business economist at GoDaddy, said: “What’s particularly striking is the rate of growth of new ventures in the seaside communities. Seven per cent of small UK hospitality firms – cafés, pubs, restaurants and BnBs we most closely associate with the seaside economy – were launched in 2026 alone. And 11 per cent have been established since the start of 2025”.

Just shows how important the tourism and hospitality industry is to seaside towns like ours! 🌞🍽️🏨
