Our next meeting will be on Thursday 13th August at 7.30pm in The Parish Room, when Jackie Simmonds will be telling us about her life as “An Original London Palladium Tiller Girl”. Refreshments and chat follow, then news about forthcoming events. An invitation is extended to all women over 18 - there is no entry charge. We will be holding a collection of foreign coins, costume jewellery, old phones, cameras etc, for donating to our affiliated international charity, Associated Countrywomen of the World. We can also collect such items in the village.

DEWI members enjoyed a visit today to Parham House by coach. We spent time walking round the beautiful gardens, had a lovely afternoon tea and then visited the house owned by the Pearson family since 1922. A good time was had by all. We were so lucky with the weather. If you fancy joining us at our next meeting at 7.30 on Thursday 11th June you would be very welcome. Open to ladies over 18.
We meet at the Parish Room Dormansland.
