🦇🌙 Something Wild is Waiting in the Dark...

Join us at Juniper Hall for the very first Wild Nights event, where we'll explore the fascinating world of nocturnal animals!

As darkness falls, discover who's been visiting our grounds through camera trap footage, open our small mammal traps, use bat detectors to uncover hidden wildlife, and enjoy a guided walk around the grounds to see what creatures might be stirring.

Wellbeing in Nature: Reconnecting in the Lake District🌄

In May, Blencathra Field Centre delivered their first Wellbeing in Nature Retreat at in the heart of the Lake District.

Similar to our Wellbeing in Nature weekend, coming up in August, the retreat combined a range of evidence-inspired activities designed to promote mindfulness, reduce stress and enhance connection to the natural world. 🌱 🐝
