Encore Singers Dorchester A Fun, Lively Amateur Mixed Choir, specialising in 'Songs From The Shows'. Based in Dorchester, Dorset, England and attracting singers of all ages.

The Encore Singers is a mixed choir, specialising in 'Songs From The Shows'
We perform Concerts in local venues several times each year, usually in order to raise money for a specified charity. Each year we raise many thousands of pounds in this way. We rehearse on a Thursday evening in the United Reform Church, South Street, Dorchester, from 7:30 pm until 9:30 pm, under the Musical Direction of

James Crawshaw. No auditions are required to join the Encore Singers. Singers, especially Tenors and Basses, of all abilities are welcomed. We currently enjoy a full membership in all four sections, so we are not actively recruiting new members. Please contact the Chairman in the first instance ([email protected]), for more information and to be notified when vacancies arise in your voice part. We do use sheet music, so some ability to read music is beneficial, but NOT essential. If you think you might like to join, or if you think we might be able to help raise money for your charity through a concert, come along one Thursday and have a chat.

We have just learned that, through your generosity, we raised an amazing £852.50 for The Leprosy Mission at our concert last night! Thank you all for donating and for coming along to support us.
