Planning Application – InPost Locker, Charlton Down Village Shop

Residents may be aware that a planning application has been submitted relating to the InPost Locker at Alder Court, Charlton Down Village Shop, Hawthorn Road, Charlton Down, DT2 9UY.

Application reference: P/FUL/2026/02466
Proposal: Retain InPost Locker

This is a retrospective planning application, as the locker was installed without planning permission.

Dorset Council, as the Local Planning Authority, will make the final decision on the application. The Parish Council does not determine planning applications.

Residents who wish to comment, whether in support or objection, can do so directly via Dorset Council’s planning portal.

🎉 New toddler swing seat at Charminster Farm Play Area! 🎉

Following popular demand, Charminster Parish Council is pleased to confirm that a new toddler swing seat has now been installed at Charminster Farm Play Area.

We hope our youngest residents enjoy using it safely, and we would like to thank everyone who shared their feedback and helped highlight the need for this addition.
