It's September which means we're gearing up for our event in Weymouth on Thursday 24 - Saturday 26 September.

Experience an immersive light and sound installation on Westham Bridge - Wave by squidsoup - as part of this year's Dusk til Dark from We Are Weymouth UK.

'Wave’ consists of five hundred suspended orbs shaped like a breaking ocean wave. As you move through the artwork, the orbs shift in harmonies of sound and light resulting in a calming and sensory experience.

There's also a drawing session (Friday 25 September, 5pm) and yoga workshop (Saturday 26 September, 5pm) - a wonderful opportunity to experience the installation in a new and unique way.

Where do b-side and Activate cross over? PERFORMANCE, of course! 🎭

This year we are bringing brilliant performers, artists and ideas to Portland this September.

“Breaking barriers…Togetherness…A bridge…Love."

That's how participants summed up Flavours, a three-year project that created welcoming, supported days out in Dorset's countryside for communities across the county, using food, nature and shared stories as a bridge.

Over 900 people took part, many discovering places they never knew existed. And it hasn't stopped: groups are now planning and making their own visits and one community has already been out four times independently.

The Flavours project was led by Dorset National Landscape in partnership with Dorset Race Equality Council. The seed pods have arrived at Greenwich+Docklands International Festival 🙌

Canopy by Lorna Rees Company will be at Tump 53 Nature Reserve on Friday 4 and Saturday 5 September, 12.30-7.30pm. Free for Thamesmead residents.

Experience the sound walk - listen under the seed pods to stories about trees and our relationship with them.

Our inclusive performing arts groups has spaces available for kids age 5+.

Sessions take place once a month in Dorchester and Wimborne, and one to one support is available for those who need it.

It's taking place on Thursday 24-Saturday 26 September on Westham Bridge in Weymouth. We need friendly people willing to help out with stewarding, collecting donations, supporting with access requirements and being part of our information team.
