This evenings online peer support will be hosted by our volunteer RAF veteran Corporal Harry Worth as I’m missing in action aka stuck in traffic on route from Cornwall!

17.30 start if you want a confidential, non judgmental natter. Harry knows first hand from his own experience how some life losses need more than mess banter or gym workouts.

Sharing to keep doing our bit to raise awareness . We have run our CIC Found my Niche for over 2 years now & the impact of Covid is still huge for all the reasons Dr Nighat discribes.

People lost so much . We offer a safe space ( a niche) to express emotions with peers and find ways of coping with whatever it is they need support with ,together.

Our Operational Loss & Everyday Impact initiative is specifically for The blue light & veteran community and extended family. They went through events we can’t and wouldn’t want to imagine during the pandemic.

We offer A monthly , online session that provides national support, can be attended anonymously is so wished & is independent of any work related organizations. Showing up isn’t showing weakness . It takes great courage to seek help for ourselves when we are trained to help others.

We’re Grateful to have our After Loss Grief Cafes & Walk n Talks on your maps . Perhaps an online support map or a Wellness Workshop map could be next….

Meet one of our Veteran Volunteers Harry former RAF engineer served in the Far East in the 6Os . Heart as big as a lion proving you don’t have to be brave or lonely if you’re struggling with Grief.

He turns up every last Friday of the month on zoom ready to support anyone that might need a listening ear and knowing if he needs one we’ll be there for him.

And if you’re wondering what in his kit bag it’s not spray cans he’s just admiring this fine feline who’s part of the of Yorkshire in . He has been known to have gaffer tape in there though!
Btw he always says he prefers female company 🤣🦁
