✨ Welcome to Phoenix Gallery 71 - We are opening the doors tomorrow✨

This space has been created with intention, care, and deep respect for the stories it holds.

Phoenix Gallery 71 is more than an art gallery.

It is a place of expression, healing, and quiet strength.

Here, art is not just something to admire.
It is something that speaks.
Something that has lived.
Something that has survived.

Every wall, every piece, every detail exists to raise awareness of domestic abuse and to raise vital funds to support survivors rebuilding their lives through Phoenix WoMen’s Aid

We are so proud to finally open the doors and invite you into this space.

Thank you for being here from the very beginning 🤍

Opting out of emergency alerts that are happening at 3pm today ‼️

If you are a victim of domestic abuse with a concealed phone, you may find it appropriate to turn off emergency alerts.

There’s a different way to opt out of operator test alerts.

iPhone:

Go to your settings and select the ‘notifications’ menu.
Scroll to the bottom.
Turn off ‘severe alerts’ and ‘extreme alerts’.

Android phones:
Search your settings for ‘emergency alerts’.
Turn off ‘severe alerts’ and ‘extreme alerts’.

Other mobile phones and tablets:
Depending on the manufacturer and software version of your phone, emergency alerts settings may be called different names, such as ‘wireless emergency alerts’ or ‘emergency broadcasts’.

The settings can usually be found in one of the following ways. Go to:

‘message’, then ‘message settings, then ‘wireless emergency alerts’, then ‘alert’
‘settings’, then ‘sounds’, then ‘advanced’, then ‘emergency broadcasts’
‘settings’, then ‘general settings’, then ‘emergency alerts’
Then turn off ‘severe alerts’, ‘extreme alerts’ and ‘test alerts’.

How you opt out depends on your device, if you still get alerts after opting out, contact your device manufacturer for help.

Emergency alerts are a UK Government service that can be used to warn you if there’s a danger to life nearby. Examples of situations that may lead to an alert include severe flooding, fires and extreme weather.

If you are opting out of emergency alerts for your personal safety, you can listen to news on live radio to find out about the emergency.

CALL OUT FOR DONATIONS 🎣 🎮

We’re supporting a father and his two sons currently staying in a refuge with us. They’ve found that both fishing and gaming have become therapeutic ways to bond, heal, and find a sense of normality again.

We’re looking for:
• Fishing reels (for both adults and kids)
• An Xbox One controller (to go with an existing console)

If you have any of these in good working condition that you’re willing to donate, please comment or message us, thank you 🙏🏼 🐦‍🔥
