Developing as a Hair Stylist or Beauty Therapist takes determination, commitment and perseverance. During this development you will be learning the importance of Health and Safety; how to apply number and communication to your role; how to effectively consult with your client to deliver a treatment plan that they will be happy with; deliver different types of services from shampooing to restyling;

from manicures to skin care - all the time promoting products and services that will enhance the service you deliver increasing the possibility of the client returning to you time and time again. Anyone can treat a client – it is another thing keeping a client! The career paths in our industry are vast and range from assistant to consultant, junior to salon manager, all in a vast array of places; salons, spa’s, department stores, cruise ships, the list is endless. The most important thing to remember is – the harder you work the more opportunities will open up to you.
