Cavy Corner

Cavy Corner Cavy Corner Guinea Sanctuary, Registered Charity Number 1156943 is based in Doncaster, England. We rescue, rehabilitate and rehome guinea pigs.
(220)

Established in 2008 we are an award winning non profit charity and completely volunteer run. Cavy Corner rescues abused, abandoned, neglected and unwanted Guinea Pigs. In addition to taking in guineas with special needs either because of poor health or behavioural issues. We nurse them back to good health and either provide a loving forever home here, or find the perfect family for them. We attend

community events, visit schools and groups to raise awareness and educate on animal welfare matters. We regularly hold events. Cavy Corner provides guinea care classes to potential adopters. Our Guinea Helpline is free. Cavy Corner is a multi award winning rescue. Our Story
Since the summer of 2008 Cavy Corner has rescued guineas who have been been abandoned, experienced cruelty or neglect. We also help guineas when circumstances mean their owners are unable to care for them. Guineas here are cherished and live in a comfortable purpose built building. Where possible rescued guineas are rehabilitated and adopted into 5 star loving homes. Guineas needing specialist care will remain with us for as long as needed (for the rest of their lives if necessary)

All visits are by appointment. The sanctuary is not open for social/entertainment visits by the public. Cavy Corner holds three advertised events each year and all are welcome to attend. We are volunteer run - no one here gets paid. Volunteers come from all backgrounds and cover age ranges from early teens to pensioners. All working together to help the guineas. Volunteers are valued and appreciated. Our Guinea Helpline is free and can help on behaviour, bonding, bereavement, when to seek help, syringe feeding techniques and much more. Cavy Corner makes educational visits to schools, youth groups and events to raise awareness of and help improve animal welfare issues. Hands on guinea care classes are provided to all adopters at the time of adoption and ongoing support is offered for life. Cavy Corner FB page is updated several times a day and currently has over 54,000 followers. Our Achievements

A big thank you to Nah That’s Reyt Good. Jams, Marmalades and Pickles for the kind donation.
They work hard raising funds for animal charities and rescues in South Yorkshire, take a look at their page and pop along to one of their stalls if you're local.

Daphne says thank you to the kind sender of these gifts.
