Get in Line & Dance.

What an amazing night was had last week. Everybody at EvesTrust would like to thank all that contributed to this fantastic evening, especially the incredible Gill Coupe & Sandra Beever.
A difference was made for local families impacted by cancer, all while dancing and having a great time, to fantastic music.

I think I speak on behalf of the families these funds will go on to help when I say a heartfelt Thank you for all your efforts.
We hope to see you all this time next year when we can do it all over again. Xx

💚💖 World Mental Health Day 🌍

Mental Health has many shapes and forms. A large bulk of the work we do as a charity is based around fighting the mental health impacts caused by post diagnose, treatment and eventually sad loss.
An estimated 72% of patients diagnosed with with cancer, go on to suffer with mental health impacts as well…and that number doesn’t include the effects on the surrounding family and friends.
Today is a great day to reach out to our loved ones as many may be struggling in ways we are not even aware.
If you are suffering with your mental health, please know, there is help out there, please don’t delay……reach out today x

✨DREAM WRITE UP: Claire Moorhouse
Garden, Ready for the Summer

Sometimes it's not about getting away or completing something extravagant. Sometimes its just peace and relaxation that answers a Dream:
“I truly cannot thank Eves Trust enough for the incredible transformation of our garden.
After being diagnosed with breast cancer in March 2024, the past year has been extremely challenging, with ongoing sickness and fatigue. I found it difficult to even sit outside and enjoy our garden. The artificial grass, combined with having three dogs, created an odor that made me feel even more unwell, taking away what should have been a peaceful space.

With further treatment ahead and another summer likely affected by fatigue, this change means more than I can express. Thanks to Eves Trust, our garden has been transformed into a place where I can finally sit, relax, and find some comfort.

“Thank you” just doesn’t feel like enough. This truly means the world to me.”

✨DREAM WRITE UP: Maureen Atkinson
In Need of a Treat

The below is Maureen’s story, written this for her by her district nurse Laura and is happy to share.

“Maureen was referred to Evestrust by her community nurse who spoke with her and suggested that the trust would be an excellent way for Maureen to have a treat.

Maureen was diagnosed with cancer in 2025 and is now receiving palliative support from the nurses.

Maureen is unable to leave her home but takes immense pride in her collection of teddy bears which she has collected from family visits abroad and various other places. Maureen also enjoys puzzle books and loves to have candles in her home.

I got in touch following a conversation with Maureen to see if we could do something special for her to make her smile, following what had been a difficult few months.

I contacted Evestrust who quickly assigned a Dreams coordinator that I have dealt with for earlier dreams and shared my idea about getting a special teddy in a lovely colour. I suggested maybe a Charlie Bear. They took it from there and did some of their own research. Evestrust decided they would surprise Maureen with the full Monday-Friday week collection! Something I know Maureen would love and included 7 beautifully coloured teddies for her to cherish.

Baileigh and the charity did not stop there! They’d been out and purchased a hamper with all sorts of bits in there; word searches, crosswords, sketch books, pens, pencils and of course some new candles!
I’ve seen with my own eyes, Maureen was incredibly happy and will often show anyone who visits, all her new bears, which have taken pride of place at the side of her on her bed.

Maureen would like to thank Baileigh and Evestrust for the kind gifts and for putting a smile back on her face, which Baileigh said that is what the charity is all about.”

🎙️ Today, our own Head of Operations Martin, will be part of an expert panel at Doncaster Rovers Football Club Club150 networking event.

He’ll be joined by Club Doncaster Foundation CEO John Davis, Crown Hotel Bawtry CSR & Partnerships Manager Charlotte Lister and Treo Recruitment Director, Neil Jones.
They’ll be discussing Corporate & Charity Partnerships and how to create a meaningful impact together.
