Last week we joined Doncaster Remake Learning Days in Scawthorpe, helping local people turn their ideas into original digital artwork using iPads and digital pens.

No templates. No copying. Just creativity, confidence, and community.

This is just the start of our partnership with Scawthorpe Community Centre, and we can’t wait to share what’s next.

Last week we were proud to be part of Doncaster Remake Learning Days, delivering creative digital art workshops right here in Scawthorpe.

Using iPads and digital pens, participants explored digital illustration, experimented with their ideas, and transformed their artwork into products they could take home. From tigers and flowers to birthday cards and imaginative characters, every piece was completely unique.

What we loved most was seeing people gain confidence as the sessions progressed. Participants encouraged each other, shared ideas, tried new techniques, and discovered that creativity doesn’t have to be about getting things perfect. It’s about exploring, experimenting, and expressing yourself.

These workshops have also helped us build stronger connections within the Scawthorpe community. As a community arts organisation, we believe in meeting people where they are and making high-quality creative opportunities accessible to everyone. The warm welcome we received has reinforced our commitment to developing more activities and opportunities in the area.

A huge thank you to everyone who attended, supported the sessions, and helped make them such a success.

Last week we had the pleasure of taking part in Doncaster Remake Learning Days and what a fantastic experience it was.

Using iPads and digital pens, local people created original artwork, explored new creative skills, and turned their designs into products they could take home. No templates. No copying. Just creativity, imagination and self-expression.

What made these sessions special wasn’t just the artwork that was produced, it was the conversations, connections and confidence that grew throughout the workshops.

These sessions have helped us strengthen our relationship with the Scawthorpe community and we’re excited about what’s coming next. This is just the beginning of our partnership with Scawthorpe Community Centre, with lots more creative opportunities already being planned.

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us and shared their creativity.

Something creative is coming to Scawthorpe as part of the Remake Learning Days Festival 👀
This session also marks the start of something new — our first event as part of a growing partnership with Scawthorpe Community Centre, with plenty more to come over the next few months.
We’re bringing hands-on, high energy sessions straight into the community — designed to show just how powerful creativity can be. This isn’t just about making something… it’s about building confidence, sparking friendships, and giving people the space to express themselves properly.
You’ll get stuck into designing your own tote bag or creating a personalised mug, walking away with something you’ve made and something you’re proud of.
At Creative Push, everything we do is about Access, Opportunity, Support. This is us meeting people where they are, breaking down barriers, and delivering top quality creative experiences right on your doorstep.

The workshop theme is ‘after the flood’ you’ll create using an iPad and Procreate, and even get to take your image home, printed on a tote bag. We’ll be filming on the night and we’d love you to be a part of that but there is no pressure.

For a long time I’ve believed something simple.

Young people don’t struggle because they lack talent.
They struggle because they lack access.

Access to rooms.
Access to conversations.
Access to people who are a few steps ahead of them.

So we’ve built one.

Make, Meet, Repeat is the first of what will become a monthly session through Creative Push. It’s small. It’s intentional. It’s built around a shared creative activity.

We’re using the shared experience of doing something creative to remove the stigma and expectations usually associated with networking. When everyone is making something together, the pressure drops. Conversations feel natural. People are more themselves.

No pitching.
No panels.
No awkward networking.

Just a room where 16–25 year olds can sit alongside professionals, ask questions, build confidence and understand how networks actually work.

For businesses and freelancers, it’s a chance to share experience, connect with emerging talent and be part of widening access in a real way.

This is the first session.
It will become a monthly event.
It will evolve as the room evolves.

We’re keeping numbers limited to protect the quality of the space, and there will be a waiting list.
