Last time at Nexus, we revisited Romans 9 — that passage which makes us all freak out that maybe we don’t have free-will after all!

This week, we’re gonna pick up on the next step in Paul’s logic through another slow-walk Bible study. If God is sovereign in salvation from start to finish, do we have any responsibility for our own salvation? Are we responsible for how we behave? Are we *really* to blame for the fact we’re sinners? Orrrrr, are we all just robots and it’s really God’s fault? Romans 10 is the Holy Spirit’s answer.

Come have your mind blown. Open to all 14-18yr olds, whether you’re a Christian or not 🤙🏻

Last time at Nexus, we slow-walked through Romans 9 — that passage which makes us all freak out that *maybe we don’t have free-will after all!*

• TOMORROW NIGHT •

Tomorrow night at Nexus, we’re gonna slow things down. Rather than our usual Bible Talk, we’re gonna have Bible Study, so we can really chat through this tough question together: does God choose who’s saved?

If you’ve spent any time in church, SU, or been to a Bible study before, you’ve probs heard the word “predestination”. Most of the time, though, we haven’t got a clue what it means, if the Bible even teaches it, or most of all… if it’s actually good news.

Come along tomorrow night as our leaders slowly think through this significant chapter of the Bible, Romans 9.

Have you ever met a Christian that was completely different from every other Christian you’ve known? Because they were so much more joyful, confident, & seemed to speak about Jesus as if they *really know Him*? It’s Romans 8 that makes the difference for those kinda people. is on it tonight 🤙🏻

Be there. Bring a mate who you know would be helped by it. Invite a mate who thinks Jesus doesn’t make a difference.

We’re back! This Saturday, will be taking us through the greatest chapter of the greatest letter ever written — Romans 8 🤙🏻 it’s all about the life & future we have, because God now sees us as righteous as Christ. So if following Jesus feels like it doesn’t change very much for you, come have your heart filled.

Obedience is a word we all hate. We think it leads to misery, & there’s no way we can be our true selves if we’re doing what someone else wants.

This Saturday, Jack Hutchison is gonna take us through Romans 6 & show us how obedience to Someone *completely good* is actually the only way we’ll flourish. 🤙🏻

Last time at Nexus, we saw how the way we’re made right with God is the *only way* people have ever been made right with God. The Old Testament preaches the same Good News of Jesus as the New Testament! Our hearts were made happy by God, seeing how good He is.

This week, is gonna show us exactly what being made right with God (“justification”) gives us. Spoiler: the answer is in Romans 5, sitting in your Bible. 🤙🏻
