Dollar Drama Club We are an amateur dramatic society in Dollar, Clackmannanshire. The summer programme at the Pitlochry Festival Theatre is a regular favourite.

We are an amateur dramatic society who would love to see some young, new faces into our club. .Our social activities have included an annual barbecue, often with an associated treasure hunt; a Christmas or new year party: planned visits to other productions by amateur and professional groups.

Dollar Drama Club's next production will be an evening of two one-act plays, "Bouncers" and "A Respectable Funeral". These will be performed in the Burnside Hall, Dollar on the 8th, 9th and 10th of May 2025 at 7:30pm. Tickets are not yet available.

Bouncers - Written by John Godber - Directed by Stuart Salmon
Bursting with imagination and wit and presented by just four actors, Bouncers is an outrageous and hilarious parody of the 1980s disco scene. The four bouncers of the title portray over twenty different characters as we are invited for a night on the town.
Note: contains strong language and sexual references.

A Respectable Funeral - Written by Jimmie Chinn - Directed by Elaine Stark
Three sisters are gathered at the house of their recently deceased mother. Surprisingly, their brother Charlie has failed to turn up. From the sisters' gossip it appears that their mother was no saint.
