Burgess Hill & District Rotary Club We are part of a worldwide organisation - Rotary Interational. Club members also enjoy a lively social programme.

We meet on 1st Tuesday of the month on Zoom at 7.00pm, 2nd & 3rd Tuesdays at Kings Weald hall, Burgess Hill at 7.00pm, and on the last Saturday of each month at Mid Sussex golf club for a breakfast meeting at 0900. By combining our skills and resources, members of Rotary are able to make a real contribution to the lives of others. In our local community we raise thousands of pounds for community p

rojects and local and international charities. Members also volunteer their time - supervising community events, running a host of projects including those aimed at promoting the achievements of young people.

Burgess Hill & District Rotary together with Santa is putting in an additional night out with the sleigh on Monday 22nd December. We will start at the end of the cul-de-sac near 46 St Peter’s Road at 6.00pm so that if anyone missed the sleigh collection on Wednesday 17th, that they can see us.

We will then go to Shearings Drive, Sycamore Drive, Folders Grove, Folders Gardens, Winton Close, Folders Grange, Thornhurst Oak Grove, and Folders Close.

Our night out is still weather dependent but we hope to see some children and adults in our travels.

Please can we ask that parents keep their children away from the sleigh itself. It’s our elf and safety.

Please give generously as your support helps Rotary Burgess Hill
support projects locally and internationally.

Due to adverse weather warning and predicted heavy rain in Burgess Hill, Santa has unfortunately had to cancel the sleigh run tonight which was scheduled for Shearings Drive, Sycamore Drive, Folders Grove, Folders Gardens, Winton Close, Folders Grange, Thornhurst Oak Grove, Folders Close.
We are looking to see if we can reschedule this along with the far end of St Peter’s Road to Monday 22nd December and we will update if we have sufficient staffing to safely run this event on that evening.

Tomorrow night Santa will be on his rounds again, assisted by Burgess Hill and District Rotary.
Please be aware, all our collectors are 18 years and over and will be wearing hi-vis jackets. We are very grateful for any cash or card donations you are willing to give. See you tomorrow between 6 and 8 pm.

Our first sleigh outing is on Thursday 27th November around the roads off Oak Hall Park.

Burgess Hill & District Rotarians and volunteers will be collecting in your roads to support our many local community projects and we also support some humanitarian projects overseas. Any loose change gratefully received however we can also take card payment donations.

Rotary club of Burgess Hill will be out with the Santa sleigh on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursday nights in December starting with our first night out around the Oak Hall park estate on Thursday 27th November.

Please support us as we use funds collected to support the many local projects around Burgess Hill and some international projects. We’ll be happy to take all your loose change but as many people no longer have cash we can also receive donations by the Paypal app.
