A really successful visit to our Shed today from representatives of Forres Men's Shed. It was great to meet up over a cup of tea, share stories and examples of what was working well in each others Sheds and where things could be improved.

We had a welcome visit to our Shed, from 2 Traffic Police officers on Tuesday, who gave an interesting presentation to our members about the effects of ageing on driving capabilities, as we all get older. There were some important messages within the discussion which followed the presentation and a lot of notes were taken by our members during this informal chat.
Many thanks to Graham Ewen and his colleague for coming to visit us and we will welcome Graham back in the future to keep us updated on advice and also to try out the drive simulator for hands on experience of live driving scenarios.

It was great to have a stand at Maryburgh Gala on Saturday. Sales of our made items went well and a good day was had by all. We also had a visit from an Adelaide Men's Shed member from Australia, who used to live in the village many years ago.
