Community Support and Information, Ross-Shire CSI, Ross-Shire is a community organisation based in Dingwall. What we all agree is that it has been an amazing team effort and we have all learned a lot.

CSI, Ross-Shire is an organisation in the Highlands, hosting Sheila's Community Cafe, Mary's Room Event Space and supporting Community Transport in Mid and Easter Ross Community Support and Information Ross-shire is dedicated to enriching the lives of the community, not only its residents but also visitors in the Ross-shire area. Our team of staff and volunteers work hard all year round to keep things interesting here in the Community support and information Ross-shire (CSI Ross-shire)

Previously known as Ross-Shire Voluntary Action (RVA), the organisation has been in operation since 1971. The organisation runs Ross-Shire Community Transport (RCT) and also operates the Ferintosh Community Bus which links the residents of Ferintosh area to Tore for journeys to and from Inverness. An opportunity allowed us to take over residence of Temperance House Dingwall which gave us the ability to create a community space, thanks to a large event room and space for a cafe that we named Sheila's Community Cafe after Sheila Fletcher who was a board member and chairperson but above all a beloved friend. With hard work and determination we got the building to how we want it to be, with doing most of the work ourselves and along the way we have encountered many challenges such as lack of heating (the part was difficult to find), uneven floors, making door hanging especially challenging (an extra special thank you to Mike for solving this). We look forward to seeing you all here. Thank you to everyone who has been involved so far

Sheila's Community Cafe is situated in Dingwall, we are open through the week 11am - 2pm.
We serve soup which is always vegetable based. During the winter months we serve meat based stovies, all our hot food is home made. In the summer months we serve toasties. We also have some cake.
We always have coffee brewing and make a lovely cup of tea.
We never give a bill, donations are welcome.
We have many community groups using Mary's Room Event Space. Our in-house craft group, Craic-n-Craft runs weekly, sewing materials are provided, the group is free to attend.
We have a selection of children's clothes which are free to take. We work alongside Dingwall Community Fridge and they provide us a selection of foodstuffs which are available in our Info Hub area.
Our Info Hub has information of local services.
Come along and see what we do, stay for a cuppa and a blether

We were saddened by the news that the 'last' bank in Dingwall was closing. We are very grateful to the Post Office team for providing the banking service they do.
We have put together a questionnaire to discover whether you, the residents of Dingwall and surrounding areas would be interested in a Banking Hub being created for the area.
If you are curious about what a Banking Hub is please click on the following link to find out more
