We're thrilled to announce that Didcot Dairy Story has been awarded £500 in grant aid from TRUCK FESTIVAL's Truck Trust! 🥳

Although our exhibition is now closed, this funding will enable us to continue working on our project through the delivery of legacy resources for the local community! 🫶 Thank you Truck! 🥰

Our project co-organisers (Leah & Ruby) attend Truck Festival every year, so this was extra special news! 🎪🎸☀️

It's been just under a week since we vacated the Cornerstone Arts Centre gallery and we were very sad to leave the space but thrilled with the incredible feedback we have received from visitors. 🥰

Last night was the official opening of our exhibition and what an incredible turnout we had! 🎉

We thoroughly enjoyed welcoming our project partners, supporters, volunteers, friends and family to the gallery to explore the Didcot Dairy Story 🐮

The evening included live music, drinks, nibbles, and finished with speeches from Leah, Ruby, and Ashley (of the Roberts Foundation). Much merriment was had and we are so pleased to hear how much everyone enjoyed what the exhibition has to offer! 🥳

The exhibition is open throughout August at the Cornerstone Arts Centre and is free of charge! 🥛

It was a hot one, but we did it! 🌞

It's been a rollercoaster of a journey to get this up and running, but we're really proud to announce that our exhibition at the Cornerstone Arts Centre is now open to the public, free of charge, throughout August 🐮

Our second drop-in session was a huge success with lots more stories shared, and even more objects provided to us by the community for our upcoming exhibition🐄

We have more to display than we ever anticipated, so our next job is securing more display options! A great position to be in 🥳

At the recent drop-in were these payslips (dated 1968), on loan to us from Caroline. Her father worked at the Didcot Dairy for over 25 years. Another visitor to the drop-in, Liz, worked in payroll at the Dairy and informed us that this is her handwriting! A wonderful full circle moment 🥰
