Remembrance Sunday in Kirklees.
Join us to honour the fallen
On Sunday 9 November, we will come together for our annual Civic Parades and Remembrance Services in Huddersfield and Dewsbury.
The Mayor of Kirklees, Cllr Liz Smaje, invites everyone to take a moment — not only to remember, but to reflect on what remembrance means in our lives today.
Event Details:
• Huddersfield: Parade at 10.30am, Service at 10.50am, return 11.40am
• Dewsbury: Parade at 9.35am, Service at 9.45am, wreath-laying 10.45am
Road closures will be in place from 8am to 1pm to ensure public safety.
On Armistice Day – Tuesday 11 November, we encourage everyone to observe the two-minute silence at 11am.
Let’s come together to honour the legacy of those who served and reflect on the importance of peace.
