The Outreach Hub Initiative
Weekly Community Impact Update
In Partnership with the Al Mubarak Foundation
18th June 2026
This week once again highlighted the growing need for community support across Dewsbury and the surrounding areas, as The Outreach Hub Initiative continued to provide essential assistance to individuals and families experiencing hardship.
During one particularly busy evening, our dedicated team supported more than 115 individuals and families. Behind every visit was a unique story — parents working hard to provide for their children, elderly residents facing loneliness and isolation, and families managing the ongoing pressures of financial uncertainty. Despite the increasing demand, we remained committed to ensuring that every person who came to us was treated with dignity, compassion, and respect.
None of this would be possible without the incredible dedication of our volunteers. Their kindness, patience, and commitment help create a welcoming environment where people feel valued, supported, and cared for during challenging times.
At The Outreach Hub Initiative, our mission extends far beyond providing food parcels and essential supplies. We strive to restore hope, offer reassurance, and remind those we support that they are not alone in facing life’s difficulties.
Volunteer Appreciation
We would like to extend our sincere thanks to Shanice and Harley Jae for their continued dedication and outstanding service to our community.
A special thank you also goes to John Waring for his valued support during this week’s session.
Most importantly, we express our heartfelt gratitude to our entire volunteer team. Your unwavering commitment, generosity, and compassion make it possible for us to continue serving our community week after week.
