🌟 All praise to the Almighty — £18,000 Raised! 🌟

All praise and thanks are due to the Almighty. With His blessings and the incredible support of our community, we are delighted to announce that we have managed to raise an amazing £18,000 from the Dewsbury West Gala! 🥳❤️

We would like to sincerely thank all our sponsors for their generous support, all the stall holders for being part of the event, and everyone who came out and supported us.

A very special thank you goes to our incredible volunteers. Your time, hard work, dedication and commitment played a huge part in making the gala such a success. We truly appreciate each and every one of you. ❤️

This achievement would not have been possible without the support of our wonderful community. Thank you to everyone who contributed in any way.

May the Almighty accept it from us, place blessings in the funds raised, reward everyone who supported the gala, and allow us to continue coming together to achieve bigger and better things in the future. Amen. 🙏

We hope you’re all well and in the best of health. ❤️

We just wanted to take a moment to say a HUGE thank you to everyone who supported the Dewsbury West Gala 26. What an absolutely amazing event! 🎉

Without a doubt, this was the biggest and best gala we’ve had so far, and we absolutely loved every minute of it. We hope you all did too!

A massive thank you to:

❤️ All our amazing sponsors who generously donated towards the event.
❤️ Our incredible volunteers who gave up their valuable time to help make it all possible.
❤️ Our elders for their guidance, support and wisdom.
❤️ All the stall holders who came along and added so much to the day.

Every single person played a part, and together you helped create an event that we’re sure will stay in our memories for a very long time.

But now, onto the most important part of why we do this…

The real success of the gala isn’t just how big the event was. It’s seeing our community come together, work together and deliver something so special.

And secondly, we’re absolutely delighted that we’ve been able to raise money for charities doing some incredible work. ❤️

We’ll be announcing the final total very, very soon, and honestly, we’re so excited to share it with you all!

**Public Statement from the Stronger Together Foundation**

**Dewsbury West Annual Gala – Event Postponement**

It is with regret that the Stronger Together Foundation announces the postponement of the Dewsbury West Annual Gala, originally scheduled to take place on **Saturday 25 July 2026** and **Sunday 26 July 2026**.

Following an unforeseen circumstance involving a burst water pipe on Huddersfield Road—the primary access route into Ravensthorpe—and the ongoing roadworks being carried out by Yorkshire Water, we have had to make the difficult executive decision to postpone the event.

After carefully considering the significant disruption these issues would cause, including the impact on travel for visitors, local residents, stall holders, fairground operators and performers, as well as ensuring the safe access and setup of attractions, we concluded that postponement is the most responsible course of action.

The Stronger Together Foundation remains fully committed to delivering a fantastic community event and will continue working hard behind the scenes to finalise arrangements for a new **provisional date of Sunday 23 August 2026**.

Although the gala will now take place over a single day instead of two, we are determined to make it bigger and better than ever. We look forward to bringing you a fun-filled day packed with entertainment, live performances, family activities, fairground rides, community stalls and much more.

We sincerely apologise for any inconvenience this change may cause and appreciate the understanding, patience and continued support of our sponsors, local businesses, stall holders, volunteers, residents and everyone who was looking forward to attending.

Thank you for standing with us. We look forward to welcoming you all on **Sunday 23 August 2026** for what promises to be a memorable celebration for our community.
