This afternoon at Hayward, we got a little messy and had lots of fun creating some beautiful autumn paintings.

Residents enjoyed getting creative with all the lovely autumn colours, ready for their artwork to be proudly displayed on our barrow. It was a wonderful afternoon filled with creativity, colour and plenty of smiles! 🍂

Here at Hayward residents had lots of fun decorating two delicious cakes 🎂

Our fantastic kitchen team freshy baked a vanilla sponge cake and a chocolate sponge cake which many residents got involved with adding their own creative touches using different sprinkles and chocolate chips.

Once the cakes were all decorated everyone enjoyed sitting down together to taste the delicious cakes!

What a fantastic afternoon we had at Haywards Dog Show! 🐾

Residents, families, staff and our four-legged friends all had such a brilliant time, getting very competitive as everyone tried their best to win 1st, 2nd or 3rd place!

There were lots of treats, balls, drinks, laughter and plenty of fun along the way. It was wonderful seeing everyone getting involved, cheering each other on and making some lovely memories together. A huge thank you to everyone who came along and helped make the day so special.

Nothing better then a delicious ice cream on a hot summer day!

Today Hayward received a visit from MKWhippy99
who worked extremely hard to make plenty of ice cream pots for all are residents to enjoy, along with staff enjoying their favourite ice cream. It was wonderful to enjoy a little summer treat together, and everyone thoroughly enjoyed a sweet surprise.

A huge appreciation to MKWhippy99 for providing this opportunity to enjoy such tasty ice cream 🍦

Today at Hayward, we all came together for a lovely church service. Residents had the opportunity to pray together and join in with singing, creating a peaceful and uplifting atmosphere. Those who wished to could also receive a blessing or take communion.

Afterwards, everyone enjoyed drinks and snacks while spending time chatting, sharies stories, and enjoying each others company.

What a lovely afternoon in the Cafe we spent together on Saturday, everyone enjoyed coming to the cafe, choosing a snack with a refreshing drink, and spending time with others.

Residents shared stories which brung laughter and joy into the room, some residents sang along to wonderful music as others danced along! We had such a great afternoon filled with fun.

This afternoon we gathered in the garden to enjoy a wonderful demonstration from Natasha, showing us how to make beautiful wreaths from willow and added plant material. Marigolds and a host of delicate seed heads including grasses, fennel and carrot were intertwined creating gorgeous pieces for our residents to keep. Many thanks to Natasha from Walking With Nature.
