Statement by the Trustees of Poulshot Village Hall, 27th February 2026:

Following yesterday’s announcement by Wiltshire Police, the Trustees of Poulshot Village Hall met today, 27th February, to pass a motion formally recognising that, due a breach of Clause 8 of the Charity’s statutes, the individual has forfeited their place as a Trustee and will be removed with immediate effect. The motion was agreed by all remaining Trustees.

The list of Trustees will be amended and updated to the Charities Commission.

A new Safeguarding Officer has been appointed and the Charity’s Safeguarding Policy will be reviewed and updated if required.

Looking ahead to this Sunday, in memory of all of those who bravely sacrificed themselves for us, lest we forget ❤

We wish to say a very big thank you to our Trustee, Karl who has always makes sure our display memorial is cleaned, maintained, stored properly & put out ready each year as a tribute for Remembrance Day.

We currently have our lights illuminated outside the village hall during this period in recognition of Remembrance Sunday ✨️

We would like to say a very big THANK YOU to all of our amazing Trick or Treaters who visited the village hall this evening & went out on our Haunted Hayride!! 🚜👻

Your outfits were AWESOME & we are so grateful for you coming along to the village hall's event this year 😍 Some of you have supported us every year since we started!! ✨️

BIG thanks goes out to the Poulshot villagers who kindly gave our Trick or Treaters sweets & decorated their gardens 🎃👻🧙‍♀️

Finally thanks to the volunteers, Farmer Chris D**e for supplying the coolest Haunted Tractor Ride, Jon, Karl, Lucy & all of the behind the scenes helpers who made this possible - we love your work!! 💖

Poulshot Village Hall is a beautiful victorian schoolhouse building, now used as a community hall 🌿

With a capacity of 80 people we are suitable for small weddings, corporate meetings, family gatherings & birthday parties 🥳🍦🎁

We have plenty of chairs, tables & also have WiFi, Bluetooth Speakers, Induction Loop, a Projector & a HUGE retractable screen.

Overlooking the Poulshot Village Green we have a lovely outlook 🌳😍
